Create Space for Newcomer-Led Initiatives: Ensure newcomer communities are not only included but centered in conversations around leadership, policy, and innovation. Supporting initiatives led by newcomers allows for more relevant, responsive, and effective solutions rooted in lived experience.

Empower Afro-Caribbeans and Newcomers:  Support Black and Afro-Caribbean individuals in navigating Canadian systems by fostering peer-led support groups, knowledge exchanges, and lived-experience mentorship. Shared guidance builds confidence and accelerates integration and opportunity access.

​Uplift Grassroots and Local Leadership: Recognize and amplify the contributions of community-based leaders  many of whom are women, youth, and immigrants, whose work often goes unseen. These leaders are creating real change on the ground and deserve platforms and resources to expand their impact.

Champion Community-Driven Entrepreneurship: Strengthen peer networks among aspiring and established entrepreneurs to promote mutual support, collaboration, and shared learning. Through community mentoring and resource-sharing, Black-owned businesses can thrive and scale, boosting local economies.

Unlock Talents Through Peer Empowerment: Encourage Afro-Caribbean individuals to activate and apply their skills by connecting with others who share similar experiences and goals. Peer encouragement and skill-sharing empower individuals to pursue professional and entrepreneurial paths confidently.

Foster Peer-to-Peer Learning and Mentorship: Create spaces for Black professionals, leaders, and creatives to mentor, uplift, and collaborate with peers. Shared stories and experiences build bridges, deepen learning, and strengthen intergenerational impact.

Bridge Equity Gaps Through Collective Advocacy: Use peer networks to build collective power and advocacy, ensuring communities are connected to decision-makers, funders, and inclusive programs. Voices are stronger when united.

Support Youth Through Peer Leadership Models: Provide youth with opportunities to lead and learn from one another through peer-led initiatives, mentorship circles, and collaborative projects. Empowering youth as both learners and leaders builds long-term capacity and confidence.
