The Thrive Youth Council brings together emerging youth leaders from around the world to help shape ACB Thrive initiatives, provide youth perspectives, lead community engagement efforts, and create positive change in their communities.

About the Thrive Youth Council

We are inviting youth leaders to apply to join a growing network of changemakers committed to leadership, community impact, and positive social change. The Council serves as a platform for youth voices to be heard while helping guide ACB Thrive initiatives, events, and programs.

This is a leadership opportunity for young people who are passionate about community engagement, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, education, health, and social impact. We are looking for motivated individuals who are ready to contribute their ideas, collaborate with other leaders, and help build stronger communities locally and globally.

If Selected, you'll get:

  • The opportunity to help shape the future of ACB Thrive and strengthen African, Caribbean, and Black communities locally and globally.

The Commitment

You will need to commit to:

  • Attend Council orientation and onboarding sessions.

  • Actively contribute ideas, feedback, and recommendations to help shape Thrive programs and initiatives.

  • Support youth engagement and outreach efforts within your school, campus, workplace, or community.

  • Participate in leadership development, networking, and learning opportunities offered through the Council.

  • Serve as a positive representative of the Thrive community and its values.

  • Contribute to at least one Council-led project, event, campaign, or initiative during your term.

  • Collaborate with fellow Council members from diverse communities and backgrounds.

  • Attend the ACB Thrive Conference and participate in Council-related activities where possible.

  • Commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to Council activities and meetings.
