Research Review Committee

The Afro-Caribbean Thrive Conference Research Review Committee is a volunteer committee responsible for supporting the quality, relevance, and integrity of the Conference's Research & Knowledge Exchange stream.

​

The Committee brings together researchers, academics, practitioners, community leaders, and subject matter experts who contribute their knowledge and expertise to review submissions and help identify presentations, posters, and community-based projects that advance African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) communities.

​

Through this process, the Committee helps ensure that the Research & Knowledge Exchange stream reflects innovative ideas, promising practices, emerging research, and evidence-informed solutions that contribute to community prosperity and well-being.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in research, evaluation, academia, policy, community development, program delivery, knowledge mobilization, or related fields.

​

This may include:

  • Professors and Academic Faculty

  • Researchers and Research Associates

  • PhD Holders and Doctoral Candidates

  • Postdoctoral Fellows

  • Community-Based Researchers

  • Policy and Evaluation Professionals

  • Experienced Practitioners and Subject Matter Experts

  • Leaders with significant experience in relevant sectors
